tropic-colada

Here’s a great family-friendly recipe for a crushed ice drink that will cool everyone down in the summer heat! If you’re looking for something more adult, serve in a hurricane glass with an ounce of rum.

What you’ll need:

1 cup coconut milk

1 cup crushed pineapple

1 cup juice (orange, pineapple, mango … whatever tickles your fancy)

12 ice cubes

OPTIONAL:

1 ounce grenadine (adds some sweetness and a great pink colour)

2 tablespoons sugar (seems to draw out the flavour of the coconut)

What you’ll do:

Blend in blender until smooth and enjoy!
